Drei Königs Tour 2027/28

Together, 7,500 kilometres for children

365 days. Walking together. Every kilometre counts.

From 6 January 2027 to 6 January 2028, we want to walk a combined 7,500 kilometres and raise donations for an organisation working directly with children.

Join wherever you are: on a hike, a pilgrimage route or a purposeful walk. Every kilometre contributed moves us forward together.

The Drei Königs Tour becomes a shared journey

I originally wanted to walk the entire Three Kings Tour myself as a continuous pilgrimage. For private reasons, I cannot do that as planned for now.

That is why I would like to invite you to walk the 7,500 kilometres together.

You walk wherever you are. We add the distances actually covered and show how far they would take us along the planned Drei Königs Tour route.

I will also take part with my own walks as far as I am able. I still want to complete the full pilgrimage on foot myself when circumstances allow.

DONATIONS—
KILOMETRES / 7,500 KM—
PARTICIPANTS—

Here you can see donations actually received for the campaign, confirmed kilometres and the number of people who have already contributed kilometres.

We start on 6 January 2027.

How to take part

1. Walk your route

A weekend hike, a stretch of your Camino or a walk near home: you decide when, where and how far.

There is no minimum distance and no obligation to participate regularly. Participation is free and you do not have to donate.

2. Report your kilometres

After your walk, enter the date and distance in our form. You need no participant account or particular app.

If you wish, you can add a short report and a photo.

3. Join our shared progress

After our team reviews your submission, your kilometres are added to the total.

If you agree to publication, your display name, report and photo may appear in the activity feed. You can also contribute kilometres without being named publicly.

Submit kilometres – from 6 January 2027

Which kilometres count?

We count intentional hikes, pilgrimage walks and purposeful walks on foot during the campaign. Ordinary everyday steps do not count.

You can also join as a group: if five people each walk ten kilometres, that adds 50 kilometres to our shared goal.

Each route may only be reported once per person. People included in a group submission must not also submit the same walk individually.

If we reach 7,500 kilometres early, we keep going and also show the additional distance.

How far we have come together

The map shows how far our combined kilometres would take us along the planned Drei Königs Tour route.

The actual walks take place in different locations. Each confirmed submission increases the shared progress on the map.

Your walks and stories

There is room for your journeys here: a photo, a short hiking report or an impression from a pilgrimage.

You can submit these with your kilometres if you wish. Our team reviews contributions before publication.

Reports and photos are optional. Your kilometres count without them.

Community walks

Together for children

The Drei Königs Tour is a campaign by Charity-Hiker e.V.

All funds collected through this campaign are intended for an organisation working directly with children. Contact has already been initiated with two Spanish organisations.

Once the beneficiary is decided, we will introduce the organisation and its work here. At the end of the campaign we intend to hand over the donations and report on this.

Campaign donations remain entirely separate from Sven’s private living and travel costs.

Would you like to support the project financially?

You can contribute even without walking. Individuals and businesses may support the campaign with a donation of their choice.

Businesses may also arrange sponsorship per kilometre or support for a section of the route.

Our public donation total only shows money actually received. Kilometres only become financial support where a corresponding arrangement exists.

Walking together in person

During the year, we hope to organise occasional pilgrimage weekends along sections of the Drei Königs Tour.

We could meet and walk together for two or three days. We will announce dates here and on our social media channels once confirmed.

Be part of it

You can join once or contribute repeatedly throughout the year. You can donate, share the campaign or invite others to walk.

Our shared goal: 7,500 kilometres for children.
